NAG CONDEMS ATTACK ON PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN CONVOY IN KATSINA
Northern Alliance Group (NAG) has condemned in strong terms the recent attack on President Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign train in Katsina State.
In a statement signed and released in Abuja by its National Coordinator, Aminu Abdulsalami, the group described the incident as barbaric and unfortunate especially as we inch closer to the D-day of the 2015 general election.
However, the group called on all security operatives to swing into action and ensure that anyone involved in this irresponsible act is quickly brought to book to forestall further occurrence and assure Nigerians of the safety of lives and property before, during and after the election.
Aminu equally advised Nigerians to refrain from actions that may cause bitterness, rancour and disunity in the country stressing that Nigeria belongs to all of us; thus, we should all be mindful of our actions and words in order to protect our nascent democracy and sovereign entity.
