In a noteworthy diplomatic gesture, executives of the United International Peace and Governance Council (UNIPGC), Canada Chapter, paid a formal visit to His Worship, Patrick Brown, Mayor of Brampton, on September 25, 2024. The visit served as a precursor to the much-anticipated 2nd Edition of the Global Peace Leadership Summit and Awards, set to take place on October 25, 2024, at the prestigious Brampton Conservatory Hall.

During the meeting, the UNIPGC delegation extended an invitation to Mayor Brown, requesting his presence at the event where he will deliver the Welcome Address to a distinguished gathering of international dignitaries and leaders.

This year’s summit holds special significance as it marks the inauguration of UNIPGC Canada, the commissioning of its operations, and the official investiture of newly appointed executives, including the Country Director.
