Eight students from Umuobasi community, in Mballa Isuochi have been awarded scholarships by the Ndubuisi Oha Foundation. The foundation will cover their full tuition fees for the 2025/2026 academic year as part of its ongoing efforts to support education and business empowerment in the community.
The selected beneficiaries are: Miracle Ngozi Ebo’s, Emmanuel Chukwuemeka, Anointing Nzebuchi, Chinonso Nkem Madugwu, Akashi Madugwu, Habakkuk Udodinma Onyebueke, Chidera Miracle Irohaka, and Chidera Angelica Ibe.
The Ndubuisi Oha Foundation offers scholarships to indigent but intelligent students in their first or second year at Federal Universities in Nigeria.
The foundation aims to support students with financial needs, providing them with academic guidance and financial assistance.
In his reaction, the President General, Umuobasi Towns Development Union, Mr. Lucky Onwu, commended Ndubuisi Oha Foundation for the 2025 Scholarship Award initiative describing it as a noble effort, which have been ongoing since 2020 and has significantly supported the education and business empowerment of the community youths.
He congratulate the 8 beneficiaries and appreciate Ndubuisi Oha Foundation’s commitment to empowering Umuobasi sons and daughters through education.
