Hon. Dr. Abike Dabiri-Erewa Hosts Boxing Icon Anthony Joshua and Family in Lagos

Lagos, Nigeria – Hon. Dr. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), graciously hosted Nigerian-born British professional boxer and two-time world heavyweight champion, Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua, and his family on Friday at her residence in Lagos State.

Anthony Joshua, fondly known as AJ, is celebrated globally for his remarkable achievements in the boxing ring, earning titles such as the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight championships. During his visit, Joshua expressed his pride in his Nigerian heritage, emphasizing the role of his roots in shaping his character and career.

The visit highlighted the connection between Nigeria and its Diaspora, a mission that NIDCOM has championed under Hon. Dabiri-Erewa’s leadership.
