Hundreds gathered plus scores of supporters and stakeholders at the grand Carnival organised by the PBAT Support Assembly, a vibrant gathering that brought together more than 100 major registered support groups from across Nigeria with strong showing by YES4APC.

Despite challenging weather conditions and persistent rainfall, members of YES4APC participated actively throughout the event, demonstrating resilience, commitment, and dedication to national development and democratic engagement.
The carnival served as a platform for dialogue on critical national issues, particularly security and economic development. Speakers at the event expressed confidence that Nigeria is making steady progress in tackling insecurity and restoring peace across affected communities. They noted that ongoing efforts against terrorism, banditry, kidnapping, and Boko Haram insurgency would, by the grace of God and through sustained government action, lead to a safer and more prosperous nation.
One of the major highlights of the event was the overwhelming support received by the YES4APC-led 774 Project.

Representatives of numerous support groups endorsed the initiative and pledged their cooperation in promoting its implementation across the country.
The 774 Project seeks to bring sustainable and renewable energy solutions to communities across Nigeria’s 774 Local Government Areas. The endorsement by a broad coalition of support groups reflects growing national acceptance of the project and a shared commitment to improving energy access, economic opportunities, and environmental sustainability for millions of Nigerians.
Speaking during the event, the National Women Leader of YES4APC, Hon. Mary Manzo-Adikwu, emphasised that access to electricity is a national development issue that transcends political affiliations.
According to her, “Electricity is not a partisan matter. Every Nigerian stands to benefit from improved power supply regardless of political, ethnic, or religious background. The 774 Project represents an opportunity to transform communities, stimulate local economies, create jobs, and improve living standards across the nation.”
She further expanded on the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ongoing infrastructure development, particularly in road construction across various parts of the country. Hon. Adikwu expressed optimism that similar achievements could be recorded in the energy sector once the 774 Project receives the necessary endorsements and support from Federal, State, and Local Government authorities.
Also addressing the festival, the National Coordinator of YES4APC, Hon. Henry Abuarime, thanked delegates, volunteers, and support groups for their unwavering commitment to nation-building and democratic participation.
He praised attendees for their resilience in attending the carnival despite adverse weather conditions and reiterated the group’s commitment to supporting initiatives that improve the lives of Nigerians.
Hon. Abuarime noted that support groups play an increasingly important role in democratic societies around the world.
He observed that Nigerian support groups can similarly serve as vehicles for promoting constructive dialogue, national unity, and development-focused projects.
He concluded by expressing confidence that Nigerians would continue to support policies and programmes aimed at national progress, while also working towards securing a renewed mandate for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the next electoral cycle.
Adding valued comparison to Western ideological societies, was the YES4APC Diaspora Director, Hon. Stevie Ozono – “It is evident that many Western democracies depends on grassroots political support organisations to help educate citizens on policy issues, mobilise community participation, support developmental programmes, and strengthen the connection between elected leaders and the people”.
The successful participation of YES4APC at the PBAT Support Assembly Carnival further demonstrates the growing momentum behind the 774 Green Energy Project and highlights the increasing role of civic and political support organisations in advancing development initiatives that directly benefit local communities across Nigeria
