The husband of Queen Elizabeth of England GB is dead.
Prince Philip died peacefully at Windsor Castle at the age of 99 this Friday morning, just two months to his 100th birthday.
Buckingham Palace released a statement which said: “It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
“His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.
