The 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) has commenced nationwide and will run till 14th May, 2022.
The examination Will be conducted for a total number of 1.761,338 million candidates that successfully registered for the examination in 755 registered computer based centre.
BEN TV visit to CBT centres located at Naowa JAMB center Mambila and 23 technologies limited Nigeria Air force valley CBT center Abuja shows that the exercise was going on smoothly.
candidates scheduled for the first day turned out as early as possible to do biometrics accreditation and participate in the examination.
Some of the candidates who spoke to BEN TV said the examination is hitch free , the questions were inline with the syllabus given and no challenges with the system.
Speaking with the centre supervisor Mr Abubakar Akande and Centre Administrator Mr, Nwosu Ernest at the Naowa JAMB center manbilla barracks, Abuja, they expressed concern on the number of parents and guardians that clustered around the centre.
They however commended the composure of candidates during the examination, even as they lavished praise on JAMB for the hitch free exercise.
In the same vein, As the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) tests entered its second day , there were minor technical challenges in some of the Computer Based Test (CBT) centres.
The 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) commenced on Friday nationwide.
The second day of the exam some centers experience minor technical glitches and issues in biometric verification.
At the Digital Bridge Institute in Abuja, some candidates had difficulty in the biometric verification, the examination which was billed to commence 7am started a few minutes after 8am while the one schedule to commence 9am started at 10:30 am.
One of the candidates writing the exam, Tope Olorunfemi said the exam was generally smooth , only had minor issues.
Also, an Admin manager of the institute, Abdullaziz Olayinka , said the only challenge was the verification process.
