The chairman of Roots Television Nigeria, Dumebi Kachikwu, who in April 2022 declared his interest for Presidency in Nigeria on the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has shocked the system by the latest news.
Mr. Kachikwu, who at the time unveiled his 20-point agenda, called for well-spirited Nigerians to support his aspiration defeat the APC and PDP parties.
He is now the presidential candidate of African Democratic Party (ADC), by defeating foremost economist Prof. Kingsley Moghalu at the party’s primaries.
The TV founder of Roots defeated Prof Moghalu at the party primaries held in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Prof Moghalu was a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, and was the presidential candidate of Young Progressives Party (YPP) in the 2019 elections.
He secured 589 votes against the junior brother of former Minister of Petroleum Ibe Kachikwu with 977 votes.

3. Senator Kwankwaso NNPP
4. Mr. Peter Obi LABOUR
