The National Examinations Council (NECO), has disowned a fake Face-Book Account created in the name of the Registrar/Chief Executive, Prof. Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi aimed at defrauding unsuspecting members of the public.
The Council drew the attention of the public to the existence of the fake Facebook Account and called for caution to avoid being swindled by the fraudsters.
NECO Ag. Director, Information and Public Relations, Azeez Sani, noted that security agents have been informed to take appropriate action against the perpetrators of this fraudulent act.
NECO had urged members of the public to rely only on official communication channels for credible information and updates from the Council.
