Weekend in Katsina State saw the launching and kick-off of the Jamilu Sadauki Foundation sponsored free Entrepreneurship Development Training for 1000 individuals in the state.

The sponsorship and initiative is made possible through NIRSAL Agric, Small, and Medium Enterprise Scheme (AGSMEIS) with offers 0% interest.

More than 200 entrepreneurs were in attendance taking into consideration Covid-19 social distancing and observation policies.

The prospective delegates and trainees undergone Entrepreneurship strategies and were given training certificate for eligibility to access up to N10 Million AGSMEIS Loan backed by Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) – without collateral security.

It is evident that the participants were from across the states with their enthusiasm, willingness and readiness to change their lives with other interested participants from neighbouring States.

The training covered various fields such as carpentry, poultry, farming, goat rearing, furniture making, tailoring, and in other Agri and non-Agro businesses.

Jamilu Ahmad Sadauki, the Founder and President of Sadauki Foundation, said the initiative was made possible by partners, his determination and willingness to change the lives of people in the state and his contributions to the human resources, economic and empowerment development especially in this season in the country.

The final recipients will be able to use their newly acquired skills, certificates and experience to secure any other government services and packages in the country.

The project continues with a plan to expand and assists others.
