Engr Noah Dallaji, a renowned Nigerian entrepreneur and founder of the African Children Talent Discovery Foundation, is deeply saddened by the passing of elder statesman Edwin Clark, who died on February 17, 2025, at the age of 97.
Engr Dallaji in a statement signed by his Media Aide Elem Chukwuemeka in Abuja described Chief Clark as a “national icon” and a “beacon of hope” for the Nigerian people, who dedicated his life to the service of the nation. He recalled Chief Clark’s numerous contributions to the development of Nigeria, including his role as a minister and his advocacy for the rights of the Niger Delta people.
“I am deeply saddened by the passing of Chief Edwin Clark, a man who embodied the spirit of patriotism and selfless service to our great nation,” Engr Dallaji said. “His dedication to the cause of justice and equality is an inspiration to us all, and his legacy will continue to live on in our hearts and minds.”
Engr Dallaji also praised Chief Clark’s commitment to the development of the Niger Delta region, noting that his efforts helped to bring attention to the region’s unique challenges and needs. “Chief Clark was a true champion of the Niger Delta people, and his work helped to bring about positive change to the region,” he said.
As the founder of the African Children Talent Discovery Foundation, Engr Dallaji noted that Chief Clark’s legacy will continue to inspire the next generation of Nigerian leaders and citizens. “Chief Clark’s life and work are a testament to the power of dedication and service to one’s country,” he said. “We will continue to draw inspiration from his example as we work towards a brighter future for Nigeria.”
Engr Dallaji extended his condolences to the family of Chief Clark, the people of Delta State, and the entire nation, urging them to take comfort in the knowledge that Chief Clark’s legacy will continue to inspire and motivate future generations of Nigerians.
“May the soul of Chief Edwin Clark rest in peace, and may his legacy continue to guide us as we work towards a brighter future for our nation,” Engr Dallaji said.
