The 2024 Eid-ul-Maulud Celebrations: CP ML Yusufu Encourages Citizens to Reflect and Pray for Peace, Progress, and Unity of the State

The Commissioner of Police, Borno State Command, CP Mohammed Lawal Yusufu psc, extends warm greetings to the Muslim faithful as they celebrate Eid-ul-Maulud in the State.

In striving to ensure a peaceful and incident-free Maulud celebration, the CP has directed Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, and tactical commanders to increase visibility patrols and secure highways across the State.

Additionally, the Command has deployed ample operational resources and implemented various intelligence strategies to preempt any potential threats to public safety during this festive period.

The CP urges citizens to remain vigilant and celebrate responsibly while adhering to the law. Parents and guardians are kindly requested to counsel their children against engaging in any behaviour that could disrupt the peace of the State.

In extending felicitations to members of the public celebrating Eid-ul-Mawlid, the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), the Commissioner of Police calls on religious leaders, worshipers, and residents of the State to cooperate with the Police and other security agencies, as comprehensive security arrangements have been put in place to ensure a smooth celebration.
