The Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI), Dr. Kazeem Kolawole Raji, has called on Nigerian innovators and the Muslim Ummah to embody the virtues of discipline and resilience to drive the nation’s economic and technological advancement.
In a goodwill message released to mark the 2026 Eid-el-Fitr celebrations, Dr. Raji congratulated Muslims in Nigeria and across the globe on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan. He described the period as a significant time for spiritual renewal, gratitude, and communal bonding.
”On behalf of the Management and Staff of the National Board for Technology Incubation, I wish you a peaceful and joyous celebration,” Dr. Raji stated. “The discipline and resilience demonstrated during Ramadan are qualities we equally see in Nigeria’s vibrant innovation ecosystem.”
The NBTI boss highlighted the parallel between the spiritual journey of the fast and the professional journey of an entrepreneur. He noted that the same “patience, empathy, and sacrifice” required during the 30 days of Ramadan are essential for tech-driven innovation that solves real-world problems.
Dr. Raji reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to supporting indigenous entrepreneurs, noting that the agency’s goals are closely aligned with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
”The NBTI remains steadfast in its commitment to fostering technology-driven innovation and supporting entrepreneurs who are building a sustainable future for our nation,” he said.
Addressing the current national landscape, Dr. Raji urged Nigerians to use the festive period to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and support the less privileged. He expressed optimism that through “unity of purpose and faith,” Nigeria would overcome its challenges and achieve shared prosperity.
