Communities in Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Local Government Areas in Abia State were full with joy and glad tidings as Hon. Amobi Ogah, extended the arm of philanthropy by distributing FoodStuffs, wrappers and cash gifts to over 1000 widows in his Constituency
The move by Hon. Ogah, the newly elected member of Isuikwuato/ Umunneochi federal constituency was in line with the commemoration of the 2023 Easter Day celebration.
Ogah explained that love was what made God gave his only begotten son to die for the world. And as such, giving is a perfect way to express love as illustrated by God himself.
“Love is what God expressed in totality by giving his son to be killed for the whole human race to be saved. Hence, giving to mark this year’s Easter celebration is my way of expressing love as taught by God,”
According to him, the donations stemmed from his passion and need to impact the lives of underprivileged widows who have gone through so much pain and discrimination and might have lost hope.
Hon. Ogah’s gesture was greeted with prayers from both old and young ones in the constituent, praying for God to bless him.
He further assured his constituents of his commitment to ensure that all constituency project funds will be used to work for communities according to their collective needs.
“Every constituency project MUST be executed in line with the best global standard
“I was voted to work for the people of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi, and I will work for them without looking at anybody’s face”
