The Paramount Ruler of Iwoland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has congratulated the Grand Chief Imam of Iwoland, Fadhilat Sheikh Al-Imam Abdulmuhmeen Thanni Adedeji, for bagging a doctorate degree.

Sheik Mumeen Thanni successfully defended his doctorate Degree thesis yesterday and pronounced a Doctor of Philosophy in Islamic Studies.

Oluwo, while expressing his heartfelt congratulations to the Imam,.Oba Akanbi said he has no regret appointing Sheik Mumeen Thanni as the Grand Chief Imam of Iwoland. Being the first holder of Ph.d Imam in Iwoland, Oluwo expressed optimism in restoration of the religious glory of Iwoland.

A congratulatory message released by Oluwo through his press secretary, Alli Ibraheem, reads “I congratulate the Grand Chief Imam of Iwoland, Sheik Abdulmumini Thanni Adedeji on his new academic attainment of bagging a PhD in Islamic Studies. I’ve strong hope that this academic success will further restore the Islamic glory of Iwoland”
