Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, held a bilateral meeting with the Canadian Minister of International Development, Hon. Ahmed Hussen, to present the state’s vast investment opportunities.
The meeting, which also featured the participation of the Bauchi State Commissioner for Budget and Planning, focused on fostering partnerships to drive socio-economic development.
During the session, Governor Bala highlighted Bauchi’s potential in key sectors, including youth and women skill development, agricultural value chains, and other investment opportunities.
He, however, emphasized the state’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for both local and international investors.
Hon. Ahmed Hussen expressed optimism about the proposed initiatives, praising the government’s proactive approach to securing partnerships that prioritize the empowerment of marginalized groups and sustainable economic growth.
