The Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) and the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) hereby alert the general public that the information circulating online regarding the Diaspora Mortgage Pre-Financing (DMPF) program, purportedly initiated by HXAfrica and FMBN, is entirely false and fraudulent.
Key Facts:
The claim that HXAfrica has been granted approval to manage or offer any Diaspora Mortgage Pre-Financing program in collaboration with FMBN is incorrect.
While HXAfrica has submitted an application to be part of a proposed scheme, no approval has been granted.
Any official announcement regarding the Diaspora Mortgage Scheme will be made exclusively through the verified websites and social media channels of FMBN and NiDCOM.
Warning Against Fraudsters:
To safeguard potential beneficiaries and stakeholders:
1. Beware of any unauthorized offers or schemes claiming association with the Diaspora Mortgage program.
2. Confirm the authenticity of any communication through FMBN and NiDCOM’s official platforms.
Status Update on the Diaspora Mortgage Scheme:
FMBN and NiDCOM are in the final stages of discussions with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to establish a reliable and transparent program.
We urge members of the public to remain vigilant and refrain from engaging with unauthorized entities.
