Hon. Amobi Godwin Ogah, representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, has bagged the Most Outstanding Grassroots Legislator Award for 2025 from BEN TV London .
A delegation led by Michael Patrick presented the award, recognizing Hon. Ogah’s impactful work in healthcare, education, and local governance.
These initiatives have significantly contributed to the development of his constituency, making him a standout leader in grassroots politics. Some highlights of his work include:
– Awarding scholarships to 404 students and paying WAEC fees
– Completing solar-powered boreholes in five major zones
– Organizing a ₦1 billion empowerment program distributing cars, buses, and tools
In his response, Hon. Ogah thanked BEN TV for acknowledging his efforts in the 10th Assembly, particularly in grassroots empowerment. He urged fellow politicians to prioritize youth empowerment to curb crime in society
