The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Screening Committee has disqualified 10 aspirants ahead of the party’s primary scheduled to hold between June 6th and 8th 2022.
The Chairman of the Committee and the former National Chairman of APC, Chief John Oyegun disclosed this Friday in Abuja when it submitted its report to the party.
He said 10 out of the 23 aspirants that appeared before his Screening committee did not scale through the screening thereby made the number of presidential aspirants cleared to be 13.
The names of the 10 presidential aspirants that were disqualified have not been made known yet.
However the development had generated tension at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja.
