Renewed Hope 2023: Vice President-Elect meets with Diaspora Director

The Vice President-Elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, H.E. Sen. Kashim Shettima met with the Director, Diaspora Directorate of the Tinubu Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, Prince Ade Omole on Monday, March 13th 2023, in a tête-à-tête to appraise and thank the Diaspora Directorate for its contribution to the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential election success at the polls.

The meeting took place at the Vice President-Elect’s private residence in Asokoro, Abuja, aside from the acknowledgement of the unprecedented Diaspora Directorate role and its outstanding leadership, the meeting focused on various ideas and solutions to the challenges facing the country. The Director of the Diaspora Directorate seized the opportunity to intimate the Vice President-Elect on several proposals from the Diaspora for the incoming administration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima, specially tailored proposals from Engr Ayodeji Bakare (USA), Dr Mustapha Abdullahi (England), Hon Lara Okunubi (Canada), Mr Enebechi Macaulay (Austria) and Mr Oyakhilome Bello (Atlanta, USA).

At the end of the meeting, Prince Omole presented an exquisite artwork and painting to the Vice President-Elect on behalf of the world-renowned Nigerian surgeon based in Canada, Dr Abiola Oshodi.

Omole reiterated the commitment and dedication of Nigerians in the Diaspora to the “Renewed Hope” mandate and pledged to continue to work ceaselessly in the realisation of the set-out policies of the incoming government.
