Arenyeka Affirms Governorship Rotation Along Senatorial Districts As Gbagi Consults Him On His Governorship Ambition.

The Deputy Chairman of People’s Democratic Party, PDP Delta State Chapter, Barr. Val Arenyeka stated that as a fallout of GDM to PDP who was also among the founding member of PDP, is aware of the rotational arrangement put in place that after Chief James Ibori from Delta Central, it would go to other Senatorial Districts and outlined it went to Delta South where Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan governed the state and finally now to Sen. (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa from Delta North who he will conclusively complete the eight years by 2023 and then, it will start again from Delta Central.
Barr. Arenyeka who played host to former Minister of Education, Olorogun (Barr.) Kenneth Gbagi whom he described as his mentor at his Residence, Ugbuagwangue, Warri in Warri South LGA together with other political big-wigs such as, Mr. Johnson Agbeyegbe- Warri South PDP LGA Chairman, Hon. (Dr.) Michael Tidi- Chairman, Warri South Local Government Council, Hon. (Dr.) Austin Uroye- Member Representing Warri South Constituency 1, Hon. Matthew Opuoru- Member Representing Warri South Constituency 2 in the DTHA, Hon. Daniel Maduku- Executive Director of Project, DESOPADEC, Hon. Griftson Omatsuli- Commissioner Representing Itsekiri Ethnic Nationality in the board of DESOPADEC, Ama Agbajo- former Warri South PDP LGA Chairman, Emmanuel Amiwero- Warri South PDP LGA Secretary, Madam Lizzy Erikowa- Warri South PDP LGA Woman Leader, Austin Izuagie- Ward Chairman and Emiko Oghomienor- Ward Chairman.
Speaking further pointed out that when the time comes, “I will fight, I will convince people to make sure the governorship position comes to Delta Central”, he added.
Arenyeka who assured Gbagi of his support, advised him to concentrate more on the delegates as every primary election has to do with delegates; just as he described delegate as delicate delegates.
Olorogun Gbagi who led Gbagi Solidarity Movement team to the consultative visit on his ambition to contest the 2023 governorship election, said that he came to remind his brother, Val Arenyeka that he has not left the PDP they started together since 1998.
Narrating on the political leadership, Hon Gbagi said that when Chief Ibori took the turn of Delta Central in 1999, he went back to his other business commitments while working always to strengthen the party and as a loyal, dedicated leader waited for his turn to come and 2023 is the time for him to be Governor of the state.
The business mogul noted that as it is now, he is more exposed, developed and with high leadership abilities as well as one of longest PDP member that is contesting the governorship position in the state and appealed to the Itsekiri Nation to support him to become governor by 2023 so that he can use his business and political experience to change the narrative of the development of the state.
