“Letters of Credence”, also known as “credentials”, are the formal documentation accrediting an Ambassador in his or her host country.
Such letters are handed to the Head of the country by the new appointed Ambassador upon his arrival in the new host nation.

Having this occasion on had Senator Ibikunle Amosun, the Senator representing Ogun Central Senatorial Constituency in the Upper Chambers Nigeria’s National Asssembly and the previous Governor of Ogun State, in a letter of high words has congratulated Chief Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola, a one time former Minister of Mines and Steel Development and now High Commissioner of Nigeria to Court of St. James (United Kingdom) on his 61th birthday and most importantly presenting his letter of credence to Her Majesty the Queen 👑.
Senator Ibikunle, described the new much acclaimed diplomat for his speed and fast actions since assumptions as worthy actions to be emulated.
DOUBLE CELEBRATION TO A CONSUMATE DIPLOMAT
“I convey a bouquet of felicitations to Your Excellency, on the
occasion of the Presentation of Credentials ceremony to Her
Majesty, Queen Elizabeth ll and your 61st birthday, today, Thursday,
25 November, 2021.
” The fact that these two remarkable events are taking place on the
same day is not a mere coincidence, rather, it is a reflection of your
true personality one that attracts celebrations and honours. Even in
the trajectory of your service to Ogun State and Nigeria, particularly
as a Local Government Chairman, Secretary to the State Government
and Federal Minister of Mines and Steel Development, it has been an
eventful career laced with lots of achievements and celebrations”.
The letter continued, “I note the many remarkable innovations you have put in place within the short period of your assumption of duty as the Nigeria High
Commissioner to the United Kingdom, which are geared towards restoring the credibility and efficiency of the Mission. Your positive impacts in the area of upholding our national interests and
strengthening of bilateral relationship between Nigeria and the United
Kingdom are also worihy of note”.
“On this double celebration, I join your family, associates and other
Nigerians in celebrating these milestone events. It is my prayer that
Almighty Allah (SWT) will grant you many more years, in good health,
and also give you the wherewithal to continue to discharge your duties effectively and efficiently”.

credentials to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth lI”, it ended.
