The National Examinations Council (NECO) on Sunday said that due to unforeseen circumstances, it has been constrained to reschedule the Paper I Computer Studies Practical earlier scheduled to take place on Monday October 19, 2020.
The Council said it was forced to reschedule the examination due to events unfolded by the ENDSARS protest that blocked the free movement of transport at the City entrance gate in Benin.
NECO in a statement by the Head of Information and Public Relations, Azeez Sani said that the delivery truck of the organisation had left its take off point well in advance on Friday, October 16, 2020, to deliver examination materials to some states but has been held up in the blockage since then.
According to Sani; “The Council wishes to assure all stakeholders and the general public that the affected examination materials have been retrieved and are intact.
