The Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI), Dr. Kazeem Kolawole Raji, has congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of the 2026 Democracy Day celebration, describing the country’s democratic journey as a testament to resilience, unity, and national progress.

In a Democracy Day message issued on behalf of the management and staff of NBTI, Dr. Raji praised the strength of Nigeria’s democratic institutions and paid tribute to the sacrifices of national heroes whose efforts have sustained the nation’s democratic development.

According to him, democracy remains the bedrock upon which innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic growth can flourish, providing opportunities for citizens to contribute meaningfully to national development.

The NBTI boss stressed the need for continued support for enterprise development, youth empowerment, and technology-driven solutions capable of creating jobs, stimulating economic growth, and improving the living standards of Nigerians.

He reaffirmed NBTI’s commitment to nurturing innovators and entrepreneurs across the country, noting that their ideas, inventions, and technologies are critical to Nigeria’s quest for sustainable development and global competitiveness.

Dr. Raji further urged Nigerians to renew their commitment to nation-building, peaceful coexistence, good governance, and sustainable development, in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He wished all Nigerians a peaceful and memorable Democracy Day celebration, expressing optimism that the nation’s democratic journey would continue to deliver greater prosperity and opportunities for all citizens.
