Nigeria’s President Tinubu celebrates Tunde Bakare at 70

The Nigeria’s President Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the founder of the Citadel Global Community Church, Pastor Tunde Bakare, on his 70th birthday.

The Special Adviser on Information & Strategy, Bayo Onanuga in a statement released, had President Tinubu praised Bakare for his service to the nation.

The statement partly read: “Pastor Bakare, a distinguished lawyer, pastor, leader, author, advocate for good governance, and politician, has made significant contributions to Nigerian society.

“He founded The Latter Rain Assembly, now known as The Citadel Global Community Church (CGCC).

“On this occasion, the President joins Pastor Bakare’s family, friends, and the Christian community in celebrating his profound impact as a religious leader and gadfly.”

“As a co-convener of the Save Nigeria Group (SNG), he was instrumental in leading civil demonstrations during critical periods in our nation’s history.

“The President recognises Bakare’s unwavering faith and relentless dedication to advancing vital causes for the betterment of society.

Pastor Bakare will be in London at Peace Alliance Centre.
