The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says it is fully prepared for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), scheduled to hold from April 16 to 22.
According to the Board, no fewer than 2.2 million candidates will participate in this year’s exercise across 966 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide. It also confirmed that 23 centres were recently delisted following poor performance in the Mock-UTME assessment.
JAMB has advised candidates who are yet to print their examination slips to visit its official website without delay. The slips contain essential details including examination date, time, and venue.
The Board further disclosed that special arrangements have been put in place for candidates living with disabilities through the JAMB Equal Opportunity Group, aimed at ensuring an inclusive and accessible examination process.
In addition, JAMB warned that it will enforce strict sanctions against examination malpractice and the possession of prohibited items, reiterating its commitment to maintaining the integrity of the examination.
