The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has successfully conducted a computer-based promotional examination for junior staff members under the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation. The exam, which took place at Ade-Ola International School in Kubwa, Abuja, saw about 450 junior staff participate.
According to Hajia Zainab Hamzat, JAMB’s Director for the Abuja zone, 476 staff members were expected, but 450 showed up for the exam. The exam was conducted in two sessions – morning and afternoon. In the morning session, 232 out of 250 expected participants sat for the exam, while 218 out of 226 took the afternoon session.
JAMB’s Director described the exercise as smooth, saying it was a third-party exam aimed at promoting junior staff members. The exam drew participants from various organizations under the HoS, including immigration officers, firefighters, and civil defense personnel.
The Director of Ade-Ola International School, Mercy Olaosegbe, commended JAMB for maintaining high standards in professional examinations. She noted that their facilities met the required standards, which is why they have been participating in JAMB’s third-party exams.
