Dr. Nkemakolam Obinna Eke, a proud son of Isuochi in Abia State, Nigeria, has made his community proud with his election as a Councillor in the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA), Canada.
The CPSA, a regulatory body overseeing medical practice in Alberta, ensures that physicians meet the highest standards of professionalism and patient care. Dr. Eke’s appointment is a testament to his dedication to the medical field and his commitment to excellence.
Dr. Eke’s achievement is a significant milestone not only for himself but also for the Isuochi community and the Nigerian diaspora in Canada. His leadership roles in various medical organizations, including serving as Deputy Editor of the CANPAD Medical Journal, have prepared him well for this new responsibility.
As a clinical associate professor of family medicine at the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, Dr. Eke has demonstrated a passion for teaching and mentorship. His clinical experience spans over two decades, with expertise in family medicine, obstetrics, and rural emergency services [ ].
