The President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has said that he won fair and square in the just concluded February 25 Presidential election.
Tinubu made this known while commissioning the Rumuokwuta /Rumuola flyover in Obio-Akpor local government area in Rivers State.
He said: “I went through a gruesome campaign, fought hard, beat myself, supported by many of you and i won fair and square.”
Tinubu also commended the Governor of the State, Nyesom Wike for contributing to his victory, noting that he won’t back down on his promises to serve the nation.
Also speaking, Wike while appreciating the presence of the president- elect, noted that part of the problem of uncompleted projects in the country is as a result of the “procurement law”.
Wike noted that the law needs to be amended in order to ensure more completion of projects in the country.
