Member representing Isuikwuato/ Umunneochi federal constituency, Hon Amobi Ogah on Tuesday paid a condolence visit to the family of the Labour Party chieftain, Mr Maduka Zachery, who was beheaded by gunmen at Umuchioke-Ezieke, Akpukpa, Uturu in Isuikwuato Local Government Area of the state.
Hon Ogah who was speaking at the deceased’s residence during the visit, regretted the unfortunate incident and urged the bereaved family to take heart and ensure that the legacy the Party Man left behind is sustained in his absence.
According to him “Myself and Zack have gone a long way and he has followed me in all my political journey. Now that the Lord has answered our prayers this unfortunate story came up. Personally I have been confused since this incident happened but no one can question God
“He didn’t do any bad thing by standing up for the good people of uturu, he was a great and strong man and forever we will also remember him for that”.
Hon Ogah also prayed for the family and asked God for consolation and unity among family members.
Hon. Amobi Ogah was accompanied by friends, party chieftains, elder statesmen in the community and support.
Until his death, Mr. Zachary was the campaign director of Honorable Amobi Ogah and also the campaign director of the Labour Party in the just concluded general elections in Uturu.
