Significant political movements are continuing across party lines ahead of 2027 general elections.
In Kogi state, former governor Idris Wada and several others have defected from the peoples Democratic party to the all progressives Congress.
The party’s flag and broom were handed over to some of the leaders of the decampees as captain Idris Wada in his keynote address highlighted reasons for the defection, saying that President Bola Tinubu and Gov Ahmed Usman Ododo s achievements have been the major attraction to join the rulling APC.
Vice president Kashim Shettima re emphasized the beam of unity and progress as the backbone for community development.
