Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, has inaugurated Hon. Mary Adikwu Manzo as the Special Adviser on Tourism and Human Capital Development, charging her to deploy her experience and expertise in advancing the state’s tourism potential and human capital agenda.

The inauguration formed part of the swearing-in ceremony for newly appointed government officials aimed at strengthening the Kefas administration and accelerating the delivery of its development priorities.

Speaking during the ceremony, Governor Kefas urged the new appointees to discharge their responsibilities with diligence, integrity and commitment, stressing that their appointments were based on competence and the confidence reposed in them to contribute meaningfully to the growth of Taraba State.

Hon. Mary Adikwu Manzo, who will oversee Tourism and Human Capital Development, is expected to drive policies and programmes that promote the state’s rich tourism assets while supporting initiatives focused on skills development, youth empowerment and sustainable economic growth.

The inauguration marks another step in the governor’s efforts to strengthen governance through strategic appointments designed to enhance service delivery and improve the welfare of the people of Taraba State.
