In Commemoration of the Golden Jubilee of the White Lion, The Folashade Ayoade Initiative for Widows & Orphans (FAIWO), in collaboration with the Make Mee Elegant Foundation (MMEF), is proudly launching its Widows Empowerment Program, a life-changing event dedicated to uplifting widows through sustainable empowerment on Wednesday 9th, July 12 2025.

The program, According to the Folashade Ayoade initiatives for Widows and orphans (FAIWO) is partnering with make mee elegant foundation to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of the White Lion, on Wednesday , 9th July 2025, at 10:00 AM, Venue is the Residence of the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, GRA Lokoja.

The impactful and laudable initiative by the Secretary to Kogi state government, Dr Mrs Folashade Ayoade for helpless widows in Kogi state community will feature skill Acquisition Training,

Distribution of Food Items and other Empowerment Trainings.

These ,empowerment activities are strategically designed to equip widows with the tools, resources, and support they need to become self-reliant and economically empowered.

The Widows Empowerment Program underscores the shared mission of both organizations to promote social inclusion, gender equity, and sustainable community development, especially for vulnerable women.

In a statement, the leadership of Folashade Ayoade initiatives for widows (FAIWO) emphasized,

“Let’s empower our mothers, sisters, and daughters with the tools they need to thrive. Empowerment is the greatest gift we can give to restore dignity and hope.”
