The Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Dr. Mrs. Folashade Ayoade says the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is waxing stronger under the Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Chief Servant of Kogi State.

Mrs. Ayoade in a statement, welcomed the Chief Servant and State Leader, Alh. Yahaya Bello to Isanlu in Yagba East Local Government Area where eminent opposition Leaders in Kogi West are due to defect to the ruling party APC.

She noted that while former Governor Bello laid a solid foundation for the party and the development of the State, Governor Ododo is consolidating on the legacies, hence the gale of defection to the Party.

According to her, APC remains a party to beat and Kogi will remain the stronghold of the Party beyond 2027.

She assured the leadership of the Party that the people of Okun land will continue to support APC from top to bottom.

Mrs. Ayoade also welcomed former member representing Yagba Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber, Hon. Samuel Aro, Yagba grassroots Politician, Alh. Abdulganiyu Salaudeen also known as Erukutu, Hon. T.J Faniyi and other defectors as well as their teaming supporters to APC, urging them to add value to the Party.
