In furtherance to increasing conversation for the hosting of the 1st International Potato Value Chain & Root Crops Expo & Conference scheduled to hold in Jos Plateau State from 1th to 18th November 2021, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation applauded the effort of ABG Paulas in supporting President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration on economic diversification.
The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong who was recently decorated as Ambassador by ABG Paulas team led by the MD/CEO Ambrose Okojie confirmed the state readiness to officially the 1st International Potato Value Chain and Root Crops Conference & Exhibition.
The SGF, Boss Mustapha represented by the Permanent Secretary, Political & Economic Affairs, Mr. Andrew Adejoh who received the delegation from ABG Paulas, further expressed federal government support available at their disposal, as this initiative came no better time as this when the unemployment and covid-19 pandemic is grossly affecting the economic livelihood of Nigerians thus welcome this initiative.
The NIDCOM Boss, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa who personally received the delegation from ABG Paulas led by Mr. Ambrose Okojie-a German based Nigerian in Diaspora for leading a high powered delegation to present the NIDOCM boss her official invitation letter, with a request to give her moral support to the event. At the brief visit, the NIDCOM Boss who led other staff of the commission thanked Mr. Ambrose Okojie for uplifting Nigeria’s image in Germany.
“I look forward to receiving the foreign investors and partners scheduled for this event as well as avail you my moral support, said the NIDCOM boss.
On his part, elated Mr. Ambrose Okojie MD/CEO ABG Paulas confirmed the participation of the Chief Executives of GRIMME, Pottinger, German Agribusiness Alliance besides ARCN & other local investors who have confirmed their participation and Raw Materials Research & Development Council boss Prof. Ibrahim Hussaini Doko who also have pledge the support of his agency being pivotal to the improvement of local raw materials development in Nigeria.
Mr. Ambrose further said, German and Austrian based companies willing to promote all varieties of Potato & Root Crops Production, Processing, Preservation, Packaging and Promotion in Plateau State and Nigeria in general towards meeting global best standards and quality are ready to change the economic fortunes of our local farmers
Similarly, NIRSAL and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development has declared their support to partner ABG Paulas Resources Limited to deliver this international conference on potato, which is the third most consumed food crop globally coming after rice and wheat, consumed by a billion people worldwide.
