President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the nomination of Kogi State Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Planning, Hon Asiwaju Asiru Idris, FCA, as member of Ajaokuta Presidential Project Implementation Team.
The Minister of Mine and Solid Minerals Development, Arc Olamilekan Adegbite, confirmed the approval on Thursday when he paid a courtesy visit to the Gov Yahaya Bello of Kogi, at Government House Lokoja on Thursday.
Adegbite, who was accompanied by the Minister for State of the Sector, Dr Uche Ogar, said that President Buhari has graciously approved the nomination of Asiwaju as member of APPIT.
In his acceptance speech, Hon Asiwaju Idris who expressed his appreciation to both the State Governor, Yahaya Bello and President Buhari for reposing confidence in him promised to put in his best in the assignment.
