Please help share and share until this message gets to PRESIDENT BUHARI.

Enough of discussing effects of our problems and not professing SOLUTIONS!

Ladies and Gentlemen, my professed solutions and suggestions as to how best to support the government of President Buhari is as follows: I think this group should form and register a pressure group to generate, engender and provide synergy to help boost the confidence of the president, whom we all know, that to a great extent, is not corrupt. This is to support him carry out drastic actions that will fix the problems of how to achieve and restore good governance. It’s public knowledge that there is corruption everywhere.

It’s also an open secret that the players and main actors behind corruption in the present government and public life are not up to 4%.
They are present in every tier of government.

This pressure group I’m suggesting, must focus on suggesting the following to President Buhari: that the president should, as a matter of urgency, embark on a drastic action of flushing and purging his government of the bad elements in his party to enable him preserve his good name and restore some sanity to Nigeria.

This will bring some order and solve most of the bottlenecks he is facing in his quest for good governance.

He must start the process of sanitising the judiciary, which happens to be occupied by very corrupt judges.

This step will no doubt start the ball rolling as well as kick start the much needed curbing of flagrant corruption. This should instill some fear of the presidency.

The process will no doubt reset and usher in the RULE OF LAW, justice and due process to the land.

Let our pressure group help President Buhari demolish the evil cabal enjoying unrestrained and unlimited power used to abuse due process and procedure in the government system.

True that less than 4% of citizens of Nigeria are guilty of perpetually holding the remaining over 96% of Nigerians to ransom; terrorising, killing, maiming, destroying, looting and re-looting the common wealth of the country with impunity, acting with reckless abandon.

The president must call time on them: ENOUGH is ENOUGH!

This group is professing to Mr. President to also consider shaking up and reorganising all agencies, commissions, offces that are directly and/or indirectly complicit in any form of cronyism.

With these actions, the beneficiaries of corruption will be rattled and their confidence shaken, knowing their reign is no longer unchallenged.

Let’s hope this will usher in some sanity that will herald the RULE OF LAW. This democratic tool, is the magic wand used by all the successful governments in civilised climes. There are no alternatives to Rule Of Law.

With actual onset of the rule of law, CORRUPTION and many other abuses will be effectively curbed.

The monies earmarked for development will be applied transparently, judiciously and prudently.

As mentioned above, we should be making a case for retiring most of the justices of the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal, 70% of the ones in the High Courts and the lower courts & all legal political appointees!
The president should appoint lawyers with integrity as judges, reshuffle the legal system in the country to ensure the independence of the courts.

He should then RETIRE the service chiefs and top guns in various arms of our forces.

As it is, the forces too, are a major part of our problems. Mr. President should promote members of the forces with more than just the ability to shoot to take all key positions so as to strengthen the forces and make them independent too.

Next action should be to set up televised hearings by the independent committees & courts (military, police and civilians).

This will allow for a fair probe and fair public hearing for all.

Mr. President must with immediate effect, pick new heads of almost 20 top agencies which are in control of most of our resources.

To finish the national surgery and political operation to overhaul the present rotten structure by setting up probes which must include the Military, Police, EFCC, NPA, NNPC, NDDC, PHCN, CBN, NIMASA etc. under independent courts and tribunals and this must be done speedily.

I have no doubt in my mind that all of the above suggestions and considerations are recipe for good governance and will address 80-90% of the hydra headed and intractable problems facing us in the 60yrs since independence.

If he achieves these, I can guarantee Mr. President’s legacy will be written in gold.

The proffered solutions will make it impossible for sinners and the corrupt minded or anybody with such tendencies of corruption, especially the old and new politicians to have any chance in Buhari’s government.

This restructuring arrangements will also prevent so effectively the majority of our popular businessmen and women, PASTORS, IMAMS and GOs, traditional rulers etc. who all have also helped politicians steal & launder funds stay in business.

Those who are found guilty should be
punished and ALL the guilty ones must be made to face

1. Forfeiture of stolen assets

2. Banishment from participating in politics for life
3. Long prison sentences for those who have aided and abetted corrupt officers
4. Life imprisonment with hard labor for the main perpetuators
5. Death by firing squad for those who have killed fellow Nigerians or other players in their quest for power.

Mr. President should ensure Nigerians, 18yrs and over, at home & abroad can vote; this will encourage and assure all Nigerians of inclusiveness.

To back up all of the above solutions, there must be a complete overhaul of the 1979. It’s an overdue exercise and needs to be done to replace the IMPOSED military constitution with a peoples’ constitution.

I am also suggesting an inclusion of referendum for one major purpose: an exit clause for any part of the country, should there be any need for one. The inclusion of a referendum would check secession but also prevent bloodshed.
