The Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Chief Festus Keyamo, SAN, recently received Ambassador J.K. Adebola, MNIM, MCIM, Chairman of Renewed Hope United Kingdom and Chief Host of the Renewed Hope Global Virtual Town Hall Conference, along with Hon. Nick Apata, Chairman of Renewed Hope Canada, at his office in Abuja.

The courtesy visit centred on enhancing Diaspora engagement and reinforcing support for national development. It was described by both parties as productive and forward-looking.

Chief Keyamo, who warmly welcomed the delegation, commended their patriotic efforts in mobilising support for the administration and in fostering positive national conversations through the Renewed Hope Global platform.

“I appreciate the commitment of Nigerians in the Diaspora who have remained engaged and supportive of the government’s vision. The Renewed Hope Global Conference has become an effective channel of connecting with our people abroad and ensuring transparency in governance,” the minister stated.

During the visit, discussions covered key national issues, including aviation sector development, youth empowerment, and strategic Diaspora partnerships. The minister reiterated the government’s openness to innovative and constructive contributions from Nigerians at home and abroad.

In his remarks, Ambassador Adebola expressed gratitude for the minister’s reception and reaffirmed the commitment of the Renewed Hope Global Conference to advancing national development.

“We are proud of the steps this administration has taken in critical sectors. This visit is part of our ongoing effort to build bridges and strengthen ties between government and Nigerians in the diaspora. We believe in the vision of President Tinubu and we are here to show our support,” he said.

Hon. Nick Apata also commended the minister for his accessibility and inclusive approach, noting the strong desire among Nigerians abroad to contribute more meaningfully to the country’s progress.

It is worth recalling that Chief Keyamo was a special guest at the 2024 edition of the Renewed Hope Global Virtual Conference, where he engaged directly with Nigerians across various continents and outlined the administration’s strategic roadmap for the aviation sector.

The Renewed Hope Global Conference continues to play a crucial role in fostering dialogue, promoting policy engagement, and bridging the gap between the government and its citizens worldwide.
