The remains of the private secretary of the former governor of Ogun state Aremo Olusegun Osoba, Late Mrs Maria Iyabo Akindele have been laid to rest at her residence in Abeokuta, Ogun state with a call on Christians to daily live their lives accountable to God.
Predicating his sermon on “My father’s mansion, pastor Yaovi Adekunle of the Disciples of Christ Bible church said Christians should always be mindful of heaven as the world is a market place, heaven is the home of believers who lived a life of dedication to God and humanity.
While describing the deceased as a soldier of Christ who used all her life to the service of God, the cleric charged all to emulate her as whatever done on earth will be accounted for in heaven.
The remains of Deaconess Maria Iyabo Akindele were later interred at her residence while the dust to dust rites were performed by her family.
She will be greatly missed for her dedication and devotion to God and humanity as testified by families, colleagues and associates.
Aged 54, she was the longest private secretary of Aremo Olusegun Osoba for over 30 years. She is survived by her two children and family members.
