Dr. Mrs Folashade Arike Ayoade, the Secretary to the Kogi State Government, is truly a remarkable individual endowed with extraordinary qualities by her creator.

She epitomises grace and strength, standing as a beacon of hope and dedication. Following her commendable service for two terms under former Governor Yahaya Bello, her unwavering loyalty, deep understanding of governance structures, and exceptional commitment led to her reappointment as the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State under Governor Usman Ododo and currently the Chairperson of the conference of all progressives State Secretary to the governments .

In this role, she continues to leverage her extensive knowledge and expertise to ensure the government operates at its highest capacity while diligently fulfilling her responsibilities.

Beyond her governmental duties, Pastor Dr. Mrs Ayoade is a passionate advocate for women’s development. Through her foundation, the Folashade Ayoade Initiative for Widows & Orphans (FAIWO), she has utilised her God-given resources to empower women in Kogi State, making a significant impact on the lives of many.

Her commitment to uplifting the underprivileged showcases her desire to create a more equitable society.

As she approaches a milestone by celebrating her 60th Birthday on August 27, 2025, Dr. Ayoade has planned a series of impactful events.

Among these is the donation of a new church building, with its foundation laid at the Koto-Karfe correctional centre, an act symbolising her dedication to promoting hope and spiritual growth within the community. Following this, she will visit the Rehoboth Orphanage Home in Lokongoma, Lokoja, where she will celebrate with the children.

During her visit, she intends to bring joy and comfort by donating essential items and sharing moments of prayer and care with the orphans

Furthermore, she will officially inaugurate the FAIWO orphanage home building, a dream realised through her tireless efforts and compassion for the vulnerable.

Her birthday celebrations will culminate in a heartfelt Thanksgiving service on August 31, 2025, at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of Grace Parish in Lokoja, reflecting her gratitude for the blessings she has received and her commitment to continue her philanthropic work.

Through these endeavours, Dr. Mrs Folashade Arike Ayoade not only celebrates her life but also reaffirms her dedication to making a profound difference in the lives of those around her.

She gives thanks to her creator for the gift of life while also praying for more strength.
