▪︎Urged State civil servants for continued support of his administration.
The newly appointed head of service in ogun state , Mr kolawole Peter Fagbohun has been described as a seasoned administrator, a man who fears God, whose wealth of experience will come to bear in his new task.
The ogun state governor Prince Dapo Abiodun Mfr represented by the secretary to the state government, Mr Tokunbo Talabi, stated this at the Thanksgiving and reception in honour of the new head of service held in abeokuta over the weekend.
Prince Abiodun however charged the new head of service to do more as to whom much is given, much is equally expected. The governor urged civil servants in the state to continue to support him in carrying out his new agenda for a greater Ogun State in his 2nd term tenure.
Pastor Ade Osilaru fed the people with the word of God at the occasion, saying the choice of Mr Fagbohun came at God’s appointed time, when all were amazed. Stressing that God has not forgotten anyone.
There were goodwill messages from those present. Chief Alex Taiwo former and retired General Manager of of ogbc spoke glowingly about the new head of service , Korede Lawal spoke on behalf of retired PS, Mrs Sola Osasona spoke on behalf of body of permanent secretaries, oba Adebisi Okubanjo Obiri of idobiri also talked about the celebrant and the former Head of service , Babatunde Osokoya also spoke. Mrs Jacobs on behalf of civil servants, Mrs fakorede on behalf of Fagbohun family. Commissioner for local govt and chieftains affairs Hon . Ganiu hamzat also extolled the virtues of the new head of Seevice . Oba Lukman Ololakekan kuoye the olu of Imasayi praised the new head of service for his perseverance and doggedness.
In his response, the new head of service , Mr Kolawole Fagbohun was full of praises to God, and promised not to disappoint anyone but will continue to give his best to the civil service and ogun state in general.
In an interview, the wife, children and others commended the governor Abiodun for the choice of the new head of service. and admonished him, not to rest on his oars, but continue giving his best, and be prayerful, also encouraged well meaning people not to leave him alone now as he needs them more than ever before.
The TRACE band was on the band stand to entertain the people.
