Taraba State Charts New Investment Frontier: Post-Summit Committee to Drive TARAVEST 2025 Outcomes

In a momentous step towards actualizing the ambitious outcomes of the Taraba State International Investment Summit (TARAVEST 2025), His Excellency, Dr. Agbu Kefas, the Governor of Taraba State, has approved the constitution of a high-powered Post-Summit Committee to spearhead the implementation of the Summit Resolutions.

The summit, held in Jalingo on May 21st, attracted a distinguished array of dignitaries, signaling the state’s growing stature on the global investment map. Notably in attendance were Vice President Kashim Shettima; former Vice President Atiku Abubakar; and Ambassador Yan Yuqing, Consul General of China; His Imperial Majesty, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi; His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III; Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Dr. Tony Elumelu, Diplomatic delegations from the United States, China, and other countries further highlighted Taraba’s emerging position as a beacon of investment opportunity.

The newly constituted Post-Summit Committee, chaired by Rt. Hon Ndudi Elumelu and vice-chaired by Mrs. Jacqlyne Yawa, comprises a diverse team of professionals and leaders committed to transforming summit pledges into impactful projects. Their mandate is to articulate a comprehensive roadmap that will attract investments, create jobs, and drive socio-economic development across the state.

Committee Members and Their Expertise:

• Rt. Hon Ndudi Elumelu (Chairman) – A respected legislator and former Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, known for his political acumen and commitment to economic reforms.
