The drama continues towards 2023 elections in Nigeria as President Buhari Orders MM Buni replaced as chairman.

Niger State Governor Sani Bello is broadcasted to be the new caretaker chair and holds maiden meeting today as the Chairman, Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC).

In an internal issues started by a faction of the APC governors and reported to the President, he immediately directed that Gov. Buni be replaced.

• Governor Buni was said not to be in Nigeria to defend himself as he is currently in Dubai for medical reasons. But there are indications that a minister and few in the cabinet were said to have intervened, when they heard about the plan.

Our attention has been drawn to sponsored media reports on an imaginary leadership change in the All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC).

The media report is fake news and should be disregarded.

The APC is a progressive political party guided by rules. Leadership changes are not announced by ‘sources’ through name dropping in the media.
