Bishop of Methodist Church Ihube Diocese, Bishop C. C. Ekebuisi has conferred an Eldership honour on the newly elected member of House of Representatives, Hon Amobi Ogah.
Bishop Ekebuisi at the Holy Trinity Methodist Church Cathedral, Obiagu-Lekwesi, Umunneochi LGA while conferring the award on the Isuikwuatu/ Umunneochi Federal Constituency Member-Elect said the award will always remind him that he is a representative of God at the national assembly.
The Bishop while thanking God for his victory and urge him not to fail the people who reposed their confidence in him. He also prayed that God will grant him wisdom to bear the burden of leadership and make his constituency proud.
In line with the Thanksgiving program on the success of his election as a Member of the House of Representatives, Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Hon Amobi Ogah worshipped with Methodist Church, Lekwesi.
Responding, Hon Amobi thanked the Church for their support and also assured that he will continue to partner with the church.
The Church also awarded him the investiture of an Elder in the Methodist Church, alongside Rt Rev. Obinna Nwafor who was awarded a Pillar of Support for his formidable role in the entire election and post-election period.
