*Sanwo-Olu signs VAT Bill into law*
The Governor of year in Nigeria, the Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has today signed into law the State VAT Bill as passed by the House of Assembly.
This is coming on the hill of the victory as seen of Rivers State Government in keeping their VAT.
The Governor signed the “bill for a law to impose and charge VAT on certain goods and services” at about 11. 45am today , after returning from an official trip to Abuja which included winning the Governor of Year organised by the Leadership Group in attendance at the event is Sultan of Sokoto, Secretary to Government of the Federation Bos Mustapha amongst others.
By this act, the Bill has now become a Law in Lagos State, Nigeria’s former capital and biggest VAT receipts.
