The Deputy Governor of Kogi state, Elder Joel Salifu along side top government officials  and political leaders have once again led the the people of Kogi state into the monthly prayers for Kogi state and Nigeria in general.

Earlier in his brief speech before the commencement of the prayer session, The deputy Governor, Elder Joel Salifu said , the importance of prayers as back up to all the progressive developmental projects of the current administration in Kogi state under the God sent Governor , Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo could not be over emphasized, hence the need to continue to seek for more divine intervention against security threats and social-economic instability in the state and In Nigeia as a whole

The convener of the Kogi monthly prayers for state government, Hon . Pastor Stephen Joseph Arome said ,earlier this year God divinely directed him to raise an altar of prayer for kogi state government as a pillar of support to the purposeful and performing administration of Governor Usmam Ododo led administration for more dividends of democracy and peaceful coexistence of the people of the state.

Pastor Stephen Joseph Arome thanked God for his blessings on the land of Kogi, Nigeria and it’s people, Saying the preservation of Kogi state and Nigeria in general was a priority to God and in return people should do their part by praying tirelessly to further bring more favourable spiritual intervention to Kogi state and Nigeria in general.

The Monthly prayers for Kogi government according to the convener is always held at the government house chapel in Lokoja and also across the twenty one local governments of the state .

Prayers were held fervently throughout the night of friday for more productive and stable Tinubu ,Ododo administrations in Nigeria and Kogi state for this month episode of the programme.
