Nigeria Youths Democratic Party (NYDP) has called on President Mohammadu Buhari government to engage the United Nations in the areas of military support to help Nigeria fight the terrorism in the north east and west of the country
National Chairman, NYDP, Barry Avotu Johnson who made the call in a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja said Nigeria needs to support of the united nations military forces to help us attack the BOKO HARAM and BANDITS since it been on the matter for years without no solutions.
According to him “Let us stop deceiving our people about been in total control of the situation. Buhari’s administration have not been able to tackle the insurgency since it came into power in 2015 and we cannot continue to allow it politicalize the issue of securing the lives and property of Nigerians.
The insurgences have continued to kill Nigerians and it is not the best for our people. Government have not done well in the area of security at all and we should put it at the front burner as a national issue that require very urgent consideration so therefore we ask president buhari to invite the united nations to wade into action to save Nigeria at this time of our National history.
He further advised INEC to do her part in ensuring that every Political group or persons in Nigeria enjoy equal rights as we approach the beginning of the 2023 electioneering activities which have been tagged as the process that will produce quality leadership and responsive path channeled towards a new and greater Nigeria.
NYDP had earlier approached INEC with a reminder letter of their registration as a political party seeking participation in the November 2nd Anambra state governorship and 2023 general elections as the electoral act provides under the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“We also call on all our 150 million youths supporters across Nigeria and beyond to stand with the NYDP in readiness to taking over power come 2023 so that our youths and women can be gainfully employed and empowered to chart a future by themselves and the nation in general.
It’s time for the youths to resist any attempt by disgruntled elements of disunity to separate us from holding strong as a family to dismantle the chain of corrupt leaders in Nigeria who have continued to plunder and swander the resources of Nigeria pretending to be a friend and fronter of national development.
We must all come together as a team to build Nigeria I’m o a nation that we all would be proud of tomorrow”.
He noted that NYDP remains the only political force designed as a national reformation tool that will crest legitimacy to the end results of the forthcoming general elections whether anybody likes it or not so therefore INEC MUST obey in doing the needful to register the NYDP as a Participating Political Party in Nigeria at this time in history.
