*Oba Babatunde Ajayi Calls on Sons & Daughters of Remo in Diaspora to join hands in developing Remoland.
The AKARIGBO of Remo and paramount ruler of Remoland, who is also the 19th Akarigbo and Chairman Ogun state coincil of Obas, Oba (Dr) Babatunde Adewale Ajayi has unequivocally Commended Governor Dapo Abiodun led administration in Ogun state for taken a bold step to sign the long awaited chieftaincy bill into law in ogun state.
The Gov. Dapo Abiodun led administration has recently promulgated the new chieftaincy law that seeks to remove obnoxious practices and restored dignity in the appointment, installation and burial of traditional rulers and chiefs in Ogun State .
The monarch during an interview with Ben Television UK Chief Correspondent in Nigeria, Sam Biodun Ogundipe said it is now a good Omens for the state as families of the deceased monarch will now have a say on how an oba should be buried, adding that this law will not erode the culture and traditions of the institutions of Obaship in Ogun State as believed by the main traditionalist.
While speaking on the achievements of the Governor Dapo Abiodun led administration in the state , Oba (Dr) Babatunde Adewale Ajayi said the government has recorded unprecedented achievements in the areas of infrastructure development, health,education, housing and urban renewal, stressing that the prince dapo abiodun’ administration in Ogun State is a silent achiever which doesn’t make noise around .
The AKARIGBO Remo and paramount ruler of Remoland also attributed the successes he has recorded on the throne to the collective will and support of his people and his determination to serve his people not minding the challenges being faced while leading his people to the promised land.
The Akarigbo therefore urged Remo Sons and daughters in diaspora to come home and invest in their father’s land as the state is the industrial hub of the nation with maximum security guaranteed.
