The 3 major Candidates that are frontliners in the ongoing election in Ekiti State claimed they are confident of Victory as the incumbent governor, Dr. Fayemi Kayode also joined his people in the state to cast his vote.
As at press time, counting of votes has commenced in the various wards across the state.
The All Progressives Congress ( APC) Governorship candidate in today’s ongoing election in Ekiti State, Hon Biodun Oyebanji, candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Mr Segun Oni, who was accompanied by his wife,
candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Bisi Kolawole all cast their votes in their various wards of their local governments..
The election is peaceful, though voters apathy was seen in some areas of the state. However, there was massive turn out in Ado Ekiti.
