Continental Coordinator, Advocacy for Good Governance & Social Justice Global and Chairman BoT, Presidential Support Initiatives, Ambassador Hussaini Haruna Coomassie has called on Federal Govt to set up an investigative Panel to unravel the circumstances that led to the plane crash that killed the Country’s Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru and ten other military personnels.

Ambassador Coomassie who was along Kaduna Airport road when the incident occurred said the National tragedy happened at a time the late (COAS’) service is highly needed.

According to him, “Attahiru and the other officers are heroes who gave their lives for the security of our nation. The tragic incident is a colossal loss to Nigeria.

This is a tragedy too much. Our country has passed this stage where military aircraft will crash like that and we call it normal. This is a national tragedy”.

He prayed for ALLAH in HIS infinite mercy grant The President & Commander in Chief, the Military high Command and especially the families of the deceased the fortitude to bear the loss of such gallant Officers of the Nigerian Armed Forces.
